The Reeds
Rippling water
Dipping fingers
The lakes first moonlight
Coincides with calais
Reeds waiting anticipating, contact
Rowboat gliding cedar sliding slow on glass
Premeditated contact
Slender elegant stems
Connect to brilliant gems
Emerald refraction without distraction
Mission remains satisfaction
Arm extended open palm
Welcomes warm water calm
Until target it hit
empty hands, perfect fit
Love Letters
Love letters sealed with wax,
elegantly composed paragraphs
inside is a photograph
of your smile i can hear you laugh
i love that you send your love in letters
you write between the lines
from your heart to mine
every stroke of your pen is laced with love
in its purest form makes my entire being warm
i love that you send your love in letters
there's no way i can ever repay you for the letters you wrote in love
there's no way i can ever relay to you how those letters pulled me through
i never knew in cracking wax,
i could read your heart
